Blue Dart reports rise in profit for 2008

Blue Dart Express Limited announced (28-Jan-09) its annual result for the year ended 31-Dec-08 at its board meeting held in Mumbai. The Company posted an INR 773.53 Million profit after tax for the year ended 31-Dec-08, up by 10.62% from the corresponding period of the previous year.

Jet Airways offers additional free check-in baggage allowance

Jet Airways announced (28-Jan-09) the introduction of an additional free check-in baggage allowance of 10 kgs at no cost, over and above the normal baggage allowance offered to passengers.

Emirates reduces UAE fares to 85 destinations

Emirates Airline revised (27-Jan-09) fares for tickets issued in UAE on its First, Business and Economy Class fares to 85 destinations, including cities in India, China, US, Europe, GCC, Middle East, Africa and Australia.
